Stories of women gossiping in the month of fasting

imam Al Ghazali once told the story of a futile fast. The story is then quoted again by Mustaqirin. It was the month of Ramadan, two mothers came to meet Rasulullah SAW at his home. They asked permission to the Messenger of Allah to break their fast during the day because of illness. Then, the Messenger of Allah asked the two mothers to hold him a little longer because the day before the sunset prayer. "The mothers are committed to the Messenger of Allah," said Mustaqirin. After the Maghrib prayer, they break their fast. Rasulullah then sent his assistant, Ubaidillah to meet two female guests this afternoon. "The Messenger of Allah ordered Ubaidillah to bring an empty bowl," said Mustaqirin.Ubaidillah follows the command of the Messenger of Allah. He went to the two women in question. He said that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) asked them to vomit his illness in the bowl brought. The two women obeyed. They vomited up their entrails to the bow that Ubaidill had brought. What came out was blood that smelled fishy. "Why is it that blood comes out? Should not it be what he has eaten at dawn or break?"Ubaidillah then took the bowl to the other woman. The girl friend was also asked to do the same. The woman was vomiting blood. A bowl full of blood by two sick people.Ubaidillah asked the Messenger of Allah. What is their disease? Why are these two women vomiting blood? The apostle replied, "Both men can withstand hunger and thirst, but they cancels the reward of fasting by gossiping." They can not keep their tongues from gossiping, "he said.In fasting, it is not enough just to hold hunger and thirst from dawn to sunset. Because fasting is essentially restraint. Oral fasting, heart, mind, eyes, and from dishonorable deeds.
